General Terms of Use
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Silk’n webshop, operated by Silk'n:

Use of the Silk’n webshop confers the status of user (hereinafter the “User”) and expresses the User’s full and unreserved agreement to these Terms and Conditions, in the version published by Silk'n at the time the User accesses the Silk’n webshop, as they may be modified. The User agrees to make good use of the Silk’n webshop, meaning use that complies with applicable legislation, good faith and public order. The User must therefore read these Terms and Conditions carefully each time they intend to use the Silk’n webshop. In any case, the Terms and Conditions displayed at the moment the User uses the services provided through the Silk’n webshop are considered valid and applicable.
Access to and/or use of these services and contents expresses the User’s full and unconditional acceptance of the Terms and Conditions in the version published by Silk’n at the time such access and/or use takes place.
The User declares that they are of legal age and have sufficient legal capacity to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and that they have read and understood their content. The User also expressly accepts that access to and use of the Silk’n webshop and its contents take place under their sole and exclusive responsibility.
Conditions of access to and use of the Silk’n webshop
The User must register by completing the registration form and will receive a username and a password, which are personal and non-transferable and which allow the User to complete purchases with Silk’n.
Registration as a customer is free of charge.
The registered User undertakes to use their password and username with due care and to keep them secret. The User is liable for the costs and for any damages caused by a third party using their password and username as a result of careless use or loss. If you lose your password or username, please contact us immediately.
Only one customer is valid per delivery address; the same customer may, however, have several delivery addresses associated with a single user account.
Content of the Silk’n webshop
The intellectual and industrial property rights over the Silk’n webshop, including the arrangement of its contents, the sui generis right over the underlying databases, the graphic design and user interface (look & feel), the underlying computer programs (including source and object code), and the various elements that make up the Silk’n webshop (texts, graphics, photographs, videos, sound recordings, etc.) (the “Contents”), belong to SILK’N or its licensors. The distinctive signs included in the Silk’n webshop (trademarks and trade names) are owned by Silk’n or its licensors.
The User’s use of the Silk’n webshop does not entail the transfer of any intellectual and/or industrial property right over the Silk’n webshop, the Contents or the distinctive signs of SILK’N. Except where legally permitted or with Silk’n's prior authorisation, the User is expressly prohibited from reproducing, transforming, distributing, publicly communicating, making available, extracting and/or reusing the Silk’n webshop, its Contents or the distinctive signs of Silk’n or of any third parties incorporated into the Silk’n webshop. Silk’n reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against Users who infringe intellectual and/or industrial property rights.
Orders
Placing an order on the Silk’n webshop amounts to full acceptance of the prices, the description of the products for sale and the general terms of sale, which are the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded.
The buyer undertakes to use the Silk’n webshop only to make enquiries or legally valid orders. The buyer is also obliged to provide truthful and correct contact details and consents to our using this information to contact them if necessary.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are fully authorised to use the payment method you choose. Only persons with the legal capacity to enter into contracts for the goods and services offered on the Silk’n webshop may place orders.
Silk’n will deliver orders by its own means or through a carrier designated by Silk’n. Orders will be delivered to the address designated by the customer. Silk’n accepts no liability where delivery cannot be made because the data provided is inaccurate or incomplete, or because the recipient is absent. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Silk’n will take the measures required of a trader so that delivery can be made as soon as possible.
Silk’n undertakes to deliver the products in perfect condition to the delivery address you indicate on the order form. You can request delivery to a different address and to a natural person other than the one placing the order.
Orders will not be delivered to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
The estimated delivery time is shown during the ordering process and applies provided the products are in stock. Silk’n cannot guarantee delivery within the stated periods but will try to respect them as far as possible.
Delivery costs are shown clearly at checkout before you confirm your order. Working days are Monday to Friday, unless one of them is a public holiday in the destination country.
The delivery estimate is based on several factors, including the destination address and how quickly we can process and prepare the products in the order for shipping.
Payment
The payment methods available are shown at checkout and may differ per country. They may include credit and debit cards, PayPal, iDEAL, Giropay and other methods. Cards are charged at the moment the order is placed, through the payment gateway of the relevant financial institution, once it has been verified that the data provided is correct.
Confidential data is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL) to the relevant financial institution. Your data is treated confidentially and protected.
The security of electronic payment is guaranteed by the relevant financial institution, which has the necessary security means to identify possible errors in the data provided when paying by card.
Card data is not stored in any database of ours. It is used only by the payment provider’s secure payment gateway.
Cards are subject to checks and authorisation by the issuing institution. If that institution does not authorise the payment, we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver, and we will not be able to enter into a contract with you.
Silk’n reserves the right to change the payment methods, and may add new ones or remove existing ones. If a change in payment method affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact the customer to inform them and offer the option to cancel the order.
Prices and shipping costs
Users can place orders on the Silk’n webshop using the payment methods available at checkout. The user declares that they have full capacity to use these payment methods and sufficient funds to cover all costs arising from the purchase.
By completing the purchase process, the user declares that they fully and unreservedly accept these Terms and Conditions.
The data recorded by Silk’n constitutes proof of the transactions between the Silk’n webshop and its users. Silk’n will confirm your order by email. For this reason, and for security reasons, the creation of user accounts using email services is not permitted.
The contractual information is presented in the language of the Silk’n webshop version you are using.
Shipping costs, and any minimum order value for free shipping, are shown at checkout.
All applicable taxes are included in the prices of our products.
Silk’n reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but products will be invoiced at the prices in force at the time the order is placed (subject to product availability), except in the case of an obvious typographical error.
The images accompanying the products are illustrative and may differ slightly from the product, as products are renewed continuously. Silk’n will always strive to ensure that the title and description match the product you will receive.
Silk’n reserves the right to cancel an order where there is a justified reason to do so.

Returns and guarantee
The user may withdraw from the purchase contract without stating a reason within fourteen (14) calendar days following the date of receipt of the product, or a longer period where the mandatory law of your country provides for one. The date on the proof of delivery serves as the starting point for counting this period.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the user must notify Silk’n customer service, stating the email address used for the purchase and the order number. Silk’n will reply with precise instructions for returning the product, including any return costs that apply.
The order must be packed and sent securely so that the returned goods arrive in perfect condition. The user is responsible for any loss in value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
In the event of withdrawal, Silk’n will make the refund using the same payment method the user used for the purchase, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the withdrawal, and may wait until it has received the product or the user has provided proof of return.
Silk’n will only accept the return of a product when the user’s use of it has been limited to checking that it works properly, in accordance with applicable law.
The product must be returned in its original packaging and in perfect condition, that is, not damaged or soiled by the user, to the address indicated in the instructions sent by Silk’n. The packaging must be fully and clearly labelled so that the sender can be identified.
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases excluded by applicable consumer law, such as personalised products, perishable products and sealed products that are unsuitable for return for hygiene or health protection reasons once unsealed. In case of doubt, the user may contact SILK’N beforehand.
In the event of an error in shipping or a defect in the product, Silk’n undertakes to replace the defective product with an identical one, provided it is available. To process a return, please contact our customer service team.
Guarantees and after-sales services are governed by the consumer protection law applicable in your country. Under that law, the seller is obliged to deliver products that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity. The consumer is entitled to repair or replacement of the product, a price reduction or termination of the contract, within the legal guarantee periods that apply in their country. Any additional guarantee provided for a product is described on the product page and does not limit your statutory rights.

The countries and regions to which Silk’n delivers are shown at checkout. Some regions may be excluded from delivery; please check that your address can be selected before placing your order.
Liability, disputes and applicable law
Silk’n cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract in the event of stock shortage or unavailability of the product, force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike, in particular of postal services and means of transport and/or communications, flood or fire, among others.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law applicable to your purchase, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you live.
In the event of a dispute, the user will first contact Silk’n to seek an amicable solution. If no solution is reached, the dispute may be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
