With one cartridge I was able to do both my legs (ankle to upper thighs), arms (wrists to elbows), whole face (I have peach fuzz) and both arm pits. I think it more than pays for itself after just one treatment. I had 90% less hair after just one treatment. But, it's different for everyone. It has had such a huge impact on my life.

I have been using the Silk'n for about 2 years now. I really can't say enough good things about it. I inherited very dark, thick hair and very fair sensitive skin from my parents. I have tried every single method for hair removal. My forearms have been a huge source of embarrassment my my whole life. I tried electrolysis, waxing, shaving, bleaching, Nair, and my personal favorite-The Epilady-which gave me horrible ingrown hairs and was incredible painful. I tried all these methods for years but nothing was working and actually making things worse.

Summers were always dreaded because I had to wear long sleeves to hide my forearms. I missed out on a lot.

I discovered the Silk'n and even though I was very skeptical I decided I had nothing left to lose. After the first couple of treatments I was amazed at the results. "I am a delighted user of the Silk'n hair removal system and wanted to share my experience with others who are considering an alternative to the grind of shaving several times a week. I have tried many different types of razors, depilatory creams, and even waxing. All were time consuming and messy and the waxing was very painful. At the suggestion of my dermatologist, I decided to test the Silk'n system. I have dark, fairly plentiful body hair and regularly removed it from my legs and underarms. In the summer I shaved the bikini area almost on a daily basis since I boat and water ski frequently. I began using Silk'n last February and followed the manufacturer's recommended schedule of treating every two weeks for 2 months followed by once a month treatments for 4 more months. I started out slowly at level 1,then level 2. I skipped 3 and went right to 4. I quickly moved to level 5 where I remain. I have experienced minimal discomfort and any redness disappeared within 2 days. At this point, I have only one treatment left in the original cycle. After just two treatments, my underarm hair greatly decreased and after three totally disappeared. What a relief! I had suffered for years with rashes and "bumps" in this area from the frequent shaving. During this same period the hair on my thighs also greatly decreased as well as the hair on the backs of my lower legs. "I bought my Silk'n unit at the beginning of May. To date I have done 9 treatments. As a previous waxer, I am so thrilled about the convenience, ease and results from Silk'n. With waxing I was having extreme ingrown hairs, and found the results so short lived (1 week before ingrown regrowth started). With Silk'n, I was able to shave as often as I wanted - not needing to wait for hair growth for waxing, and each regrowth was less and less. I would say that after the 9 treatments I would have about 80% less hair. My biggest results are my underarms which I had 3 previous laser treatments (at the cost of the Silk'n machine alone!!!).
