Before Treatment
Before treatments of underarms
I am age 22, and always wanted to treat my underarm hair. I definitely dread shaving my underarms. They get itchy during the re-growth and sometimes I get painful in-grown hairs I have to shave because the thought of underarm hair is grotesque! I tried many ways to get rid of the hair; waxing, shaving and none of them seem to work. I was then introduced to Silk’n SensEpil, an at home hair removal device that became the solution to all my hair problems. The device was intended to get rid of hair permanently after several treatments. I was excited to try out this device and not shave ever again! Before using, I also read the instruction manual from cover to cover, which had interesting and fun knowledge about hair and how home pulsed light (HPL) technology works.
After 1st Treatment
The first time I used the unit was actually easier than I expected, and it didn't take more than four minutes (two minutes or less for each underarm). After plugging it in and turning it on, I used six flashes per treatment area on energy level 1. I was surprised to find that it was a painless experience as I felt a warm sensatino or a minor 'prick' at most. Done. It was so simple especially with the 'ready beep' that informed that the next flash was prepared.
After 2nd Treatment
My next scheduled session was two weeks after the first, and I actually found myself to be excited to do it again. I had scheduled all my treatment sessions and photo sessions in my calendar and start counting down the days until my next treatment. After shaving and cleansing, I prepared the hair-removal system and bumped up the energy level to 2. To be honest, I was worried that it may hurt this time around with it being on a higher energy level, so I decided to test it on my forearm first. I found it to be painless and suddenly became excited for the treatment. It only took six flashes per underarm once again, and I was finished in under five minutes!
After 3rd Treatment
When it was time to execute my third session two weeks later, I still didn’t notice much difference. I was getting a bit skeptical about the whole process and when results will show.

After my fourth treatment I finally noticed amazing results. A whole patch of hair was missing under my left arm! After using the unit four times, I realized that energy level 3 proved to have the best results for me so far, and only caused a minimal sensation during the treatment.
After 5th Treatment
Starting my 5th treatment, I just couldn't wait! I kept on looking back to my calendar to check when my next treatment session was. I was recommending it to my friends and even my boyfriend! They all wanted to use my machine after I was done with it. The convenient thing about this is I can share, all they would need to do is get new cartridges. After this treatment I seriously can't wait until my last one and see my final result!

Summary
Overall, I am pleased with what SensEpil can do. Although I knew what the product should do, I still found myself to be surprised that it actually worked. I believe that this product will revolutionize the ‘at home’ hair removal experience for everyone as it promises permanent results and is very easy to achieve. The unit is cost effective as it need to be purchased only once, and each flash cartridge provides about 750 flashes at around $50 per cartridge. The unit itself is fairly small in size and very easy to store in my bathroom. This product couldn’t be more convenient to own, and I’d encourage anyone wishing for permanent hair removal results done in the privacy of their own home to try out the Silk’n SensEpil unit. It will definitely turn skeptics into believers. I can’t wait to finish and further update this diary.
