I am from the Middle East and in my late 30s. I’ve always had a lot of hair and the hair never stops growing! I can’t go out without waxing my hair. But waxing causes ingrown hair and red bumps. Whether I wax or not wax, I would not go outside without a scarf under my chin. I had come to a point where I would even consider spending thousands of dollars in laser treatment. Then finally as if a miracle occur, I was fortunate enough to try Silk’n SensEpil, a hair removal device that gives permanent results. I was ready to try anything at this point just to get rid of the dreaded hair. I was a bit skeptical at first as anyone would be with at home laser hair device. I wanted to first concentrate on a portion of my stomach area and my chin. If results were fantastic I would move further with the rest of my body. My sister also started treatment sessions at the same time as me and have been receiving fabulous results. We both can’t wait until the whole treatment session finishes.
After 1st Treatment
Holding the device in my hand, I slowly flashed it to the treatment area. I was definitely a little afraid at first as I imagined indescribable pain as similar to waxing or the epilator. But the moment I felt the flash, I felt only the tiniest pinch and it was gone, it felt like nothing at all. The device can also treat a large area at a time making my whole treatment process in less than 10 minutes. After one treatment, I couldn’t wait until I continue with the second treatment.
After 2nd Treatment
As I was more familiar with the device, the 2nd treatment felt like a breeze, I was no longer scared of any flash nor heat sensation. I increased the level energy up by one to level 2 and conducted the second time with ease. I noticed the hair growing less thick as before but mainly still noticeable, I am still waiting for the results as I continue the treatments.
After 3rd Treatment
In my third treatment, I didn’t notice a lot of results, but because my skin did feel slightly smoother in my stomach area, I couldn’t resist treating other areas of my body. Unfortunately, I didn’t take photos of my arms and legs to show the results I experienced. My arms and legs did take a bit longer to treat but it was well worth the time.

When it came to the fourth treatment, I realize the huge difference in my two main treatment areas. My ingrown hairs were reduced, and hair were growing in patches in my chin area. The hair in my stomach area were almost completely gone, I almost didn’t have to shave anymore. As for my arms and legs, those had the most reduction in hair, unfortunately there aren’t photos to show my results, but I was very happy with the huge hair reduction. I’m planning to go away to a warm place for a week for vacation with my sister so unfortunately I cannot treat during that time. I would have to cover up my treatment area and wait 1 month after I come back before starting the treatment process again. The reason being is because my treatment areas may be tanned and my skin will be too sensitive for the machine. In addition, because my skin pigment colour changed, it will also be harder for the machine to detect the pigment difference between the hair and the arm. But after my tan goes away, I can’t wait to finish my 6 treatments and I can finally not wear a scarf around my neck and walk around in shorts! This is absolutely the best experience I ever had, and would recommend this to absolutely everyone.
