I was lucky enough to try Silk'n SensEpil, at home hair removal system where I can treat basically anywhere on my body cheekbone down (this means my fingers are included too!) I researched further on competitors with this product and realize that this system can treat a bigger area on the body (treatment area is 6x larger than our closest competitor!) Not to mention with many positive reviews and dermatologist recommendations, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the product. My treatment areas included my face and hair on my manly fingers!
After 1st Treatment
Before using the machine, I was a little bit scared as I wanted to treat my face area. I knew that before using the system, I have to shave the treatment area. When it comes to shaving the face, that’s very frightening as shaving can cause coarse and thicker hair to grow back. I called in the customer service line about my concerns. I was advised that if I don’t want to shave I can also trim my hair right to the skin. I was also told to put on white surgical tape on my lips. The reason being is the machine will detect the colour of my lip and think it’s hair pigment and treat it. Therefore I would need to cover it up, but I didn’t really want to spend on surgical tape so I just pursed my lips together so the lip colour won’t show and started treating. Fortunately with this machine, when finishing treatment, the hair actually doesn’t grow back thick, instead it thins out. Phew!So in the end I actually wasn’t afraid to shave my face at all!
After 2nd Treatment
The hair on my face although did not go away, it didn’t grow back thick and coarse so I wasn’t scared to continue the treatments further. I didn’t seem to notice the difference on my fingers.
After 3rd Treatment
After 3rd treatment, I did start to notice that there were less hair growing on my fingers. I no longer shaved my face either because the hair was hardly growing back. I was actually impressed with how quickly the results showed even though it’s been only my third treatment.
After 4th Treatment

In my 4th treatment, the results were similar to my third treatment, one or two remaining hair strands on my fingers and my facial hair decreased, but not a huge jump from the previous treatment. I hope that in my next few treatments hair can be completely gone or at least just one or two more pieces of hair for maintenance. I was currently on level 3 energy and I can’t want to increase an energy level higher and see the results.
This is the machine that I would recommend young or old. Treatment progress might show early but slow down in the middle, but honestly I did notice the difference and it works. You can treat anywhere with this machine, and like me even your fingers. I want to see my final results and see the huge difference in the before and after.
